Whole milk though has good fat content but is thinner. When a recipe demands whipping cream it needs some thick ingredient that can be whipped. Milk being thin can be whipped. Heavy whipping cream might be replaced by a mix of milk and butter or margarine. The ratio will be 3/4 cup of milk and 1/3 cup of butter or margarine, or whipping cream and sweet condensed milk combination.
