Yes, you can freeze chestnuts for two months. The freezing process of chestnuts needs to individually freeze them first. Place them on a cookie sheet, freeze for 3 to 4 hrs, then put them in an air-tight container, and put back to the freezer. When you want to use defrost them out in you fridge overnight. Then place them on your counter for 45 minutes to bring to room temperature.
