Fresh Turkey or any leftovers needs to be refrigerated immediately (within 2 hours) after it is cooked, else it can accumulate salmonella bacteria resulting in an upset stomach. Refrigerated turkey can be eaten up to 2 days and not beyond. After 2 days, it is advisable to throw out any leftover turkey. Frozen turkey can last up to 4 months.
