You could parboil ribs in a shallow pan of water covered in foil at 275 degrees for about 2 hours. Finish them on the grill for both sides and add the sauce. One should not be parboiling ribs or any other meat that's going to be grilled or BBQ'd. The key to tender and tasty ribs is slow cooking over low heat. Ribs would take 3-4 hours at 200-225 F.
