Mango puree can be made to be added to gels, jams or shakes by peeling out ripe mangoes, cutting them and running the pieces in a mixer. The puree can be made with any variety of ripe mango. Mangoes must be washed and peeled. Then they must be cut leaving the seed. The cut mango pieces may then be run in a food processor or a mixer until the pieces are mashed into a smooth paste. The resulting paste is the mango puree.
