Roasted turkey is a complete meal on its own. To season a roasted turkey follow the steps .1) For a 12-pound turkey, use 1 tablespoon of poultry seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, and 2 to 3 tablespoons of olive oil. 2) Apply paste properly on the turkey though it must be difficult applying on legs and thighs but do your best not to rip the skin.3) To the remaining paste in the bowl, pour in some more olive oil and begin rubbing the mixture on top of the skin so the whole bird is oiled.4) To ensure moist meat without basting, roast in a pan breast side down atop a few cups of chicken broth and some big chunks of carrots, celery and onions.
