Fried fish is not very healthy for you as it contains more than 5.5 grams of trans fat. This is because it is made and fried in hydrogenated oil that is a form of trans fat. 

Health effects:

- It increases the risk of heart stroke by 10 percent

- It limits the beneficial action of mega-3-fats

- It increases the tendency to develop diabetes.
