Tandoori chicken, lamb, fish, paneer or bread is no more just limited to Pakistan and India. Tandoori dishes are getting immensely popular worldwide and so is the tandoori oven. Tandoori oven, often also known as tandoor is basically a large sized clay pot, which stands at a shoulder high length above the floor of the kitchen. The sides of the oven are curved with an exhaust hole in the center. The concept is quite similar to the American open pit barbecues.
