Terrine refers to a famous French forcemeat or farcemear recipe. The dish consists of coarsley ground marinated meat cooked in a glazed eartnerware loaf tin, which is also named Terrine. Terrine is served inverted out of the dish at room temperatue or cold. Ideally Terrine should be left to mature for 2 days in the refrigerator for the flavors to blend, before serving. Here is a good recipe for Terrine that you can try: http://www.ifood.tv/recipe/simple_terrine.
